Mediterranean Tile–Inspired pattern

This hand-painted pattern was created using watercolour techniques and later digitized to form a seamless pattern. Inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle, the design draws from traditional ceramic tiles, coastal architecture, and sun-soaked colour palettes found across the region.

Organic shapes and flowing motifs reinterpret classic tile patterns in a softer, more playful way, blending craftsmanship with a contemporary swimwear aesthetic. The palette evokes sea blues, warm terracottas, and fresh greens, reflecting the rhythm of summer days, seaside towns, and slow living.

The final pattern celebrates Mediterranean culture, femininity, and joy, translating hand-crafted illustration into a vibrant, wearable design that captures the essence of life by the sea.
